S25

AFRICA.ROCKS S25 is a series of collector CD editions limited to 25 copies per release. The project is designed to start testing the production and distribution of African music in Europe, with a particular focus on rock and metal. Selected editions will be distributed in Europe by Hyena Rocks.

25 physical CD copies in each collector edition.
20% of sales revenue from the edition goes to the band.
FREE PR worldwide promotion of the selected release at no cost to the band.

Apply with your release

We are looking for African bands and artists with a release that could work as a very small physical edition for European distribution. It can be a new release or something that has already been released digitally or in another format. This is intentionally a small first step: the idea is to test production and distribution, learn what works, and use any profit retained by the project to help finance future S25 editions.

How S25 works

Each selected S25 release is a collector CD edition limited to 25 copies and distributed in Europe by Hyena Rocks. The band receives 20% of the sales revenue generated by its edition. Any profit retained by the project is used to help finance further S25 editions. The selected release also receives worldwide PR at no cost to the band.
