Myrath has released “The Funeral”, a new single paired with a fresh music video and serving as the latest preview of their upcoming album, Wilderness of Mirrors, due in March 2026.
The Tunisian–French group deal with death on “The Funeral”, but the song doesn’t sit in a dark, miserable mood. It’s melodic and driving, with a big hook and the oriental touches they’re known for alongside their metal sound. The video goes the same way: it plays out like a short story and adds more to the world they’re building around the new album.
According to the album announcement, Wilderness of Mirrors will feature 10 new tracks, continuing Myrath’s blend of oriental influences with progressive and power metal, moving between heavier riffs, melodic passages and more cinematic arrangements.
The band is also planning a European tour in spring 2026, with shows expected across 16 countries. After years of building an audience through their music videos, releases, and festival appearances at Hellfest, Wacken, and Sweden Rock, Myrath look set to carry that momentum into their next chapter.
