ADRAR MAZMORRA: four Moroccan releases are now live on streaming

ALIAS, FAR HARAD, HUNTER X and AIKON now have their music available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Deezer, Amazon Music, YouTube/YouTube Music, TIDAL, and many other digital platforms.

Some scenes move fast, some move quietly. Morocco keeps doing its thing either way. Over the past year, Adrar Mazmorra has been putting out releases that sit in different corners of heavy and underground music, and now four of them are properly up on streaming services and digital stores worldwide.

This is part of what we’ve been doing through AFRICA.ROCKS: helping African bands get their music online for streaming, free of charge. We handle the distribution through our partnership with Against PR, so releases that used to live in small circles can also be found where people actually listen today: Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Deezer, Amazon Music, YouTube, TIDAL, and the rest.

The newest one in the batch is ALIAS’ “Sovereign Empire”, out January 26th, 2026. It’s black metal, straight from Morocco, and it now sits in the same digital racks as everything else people search for at 2 a.m. Next to it you’ll find FAR HARAD’s “The Resilient Few” (October 26th, 2025), where black metal crosses into dark ambient.

Adrar Mazmorra also carries things that don’t fit the expected script. HUNTER X’s “Halfway Through” (March 26th, 2025) lands in adventure / chip synth territory. Closing this set is AIKON’s “Castle of Depression EP” (April 26th, 2025), depressive black metal from Morocco, now also live across the platforms.

If you want to keep up with what we’ve been supporting, we keep a running list. If you’re in an African band and you need your music on streaming, you can apply through the same page.
