South Africa’s Last Blast is back on 4 December, bringing six bands to Sognage in Johannesburg for the final Emalyth Events show of 2026.
The year-end bill brings together Facing The Gallows, Sunken State, Freedom For Your Life, Killing Eden, Starks Daemon and Die Gemeente, with the organisers describing the event as their traditional end-of-year metal gathering.
It will also be Emalyth Events’ 23rd and final show of 2026, capping a particularly active year for the promoter.
That run has included several metal and alternative events at Sognage, among them Mayhem, July Jol, Sirens and the Wacken Metal Battle Africa Finals.
Tickets are being released in three phases, starting at R150, followed by R200 and R250 for the final phase.
