Slam Dank Productions have uploaded Massacre’s complete performance from Slam Dank Fest Vol. 2, recorded in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 16 May 2026.
The video is being released during the 35th anniversary of From Beyond, Massacre’s debut album. Several tracks from the record were included in the Johannesburg set.
“Experience legendary death metal pioneers Massacre live at Slam Dank Fest Vol. 2, filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 16 May 2026,” Slam Dank Productions said. “This full concert recording is coincidentally being released at the same time as the 35th anniversary of From Beyond, one of the most influential death metal albums ever recorded. Fittingly, the set features many tracks from the album, making this the perfect time to revisit these classics in a live setting.”
The concert was filmed and edited by Dylan Souter of EIE Digital, with additional footage provided by Black Rock Studio.
Jethro Harris of Paradigm Audio and Patrick Alexander Dudgeon handled the sound engineering, mixing and mastering, while Nicholas Strydom worked as lighting engineer.
