IFRI release debut album ‘Broken’

Tunisian symphonic black metal project IFRI introduce Broken, a debut album shaped by Amazigh mythology, political anger and an open attack on religious authority.

Tunisian symphonic black metal project IFRI have released their debut album, Broken, across all digital platforms.

The album arrived on 10 June 2026 and introduces IFRI through a concept rooted in Amazigh mythology, anti-religious themes and political confrontation.

At the centre of the project is Ifri, presented as an Amazigh goddess of the underworld who has returned in fury after humanity surrendered its soul to evil. Within the album’s story, that evil is connected to the God of the Abrahamic religions, with Islam, Christianity and Judaism placed directly within IFRI’s criticism.

The album is available now on all major digital platforms.
