Primordial Black will celebrate the arrival of its second album with a release party at Studio 52 on 16 May 2026. For the Tunisian blackened-death metal group from Carthage, the show marks the latest step in a short but busy run that began with Monas Hieroglyphica in 2024 before expanding into Dark Matter Manifesto the following year.
Presented by Darkside Records, Dark Matter Manifesto arrived with guest contributions from Rotting Christ’s Sakis Tolis and artist Maxime Taccardi. Darkside has since flagged a second Primordial Black album among its upcoming 2026 full-length releases.
Speaking exclusively to AFRICA.ROCKS, Primordial Black’s Yasser Mahammedi-Bouzina said: “We are especially eager to share this moment with everyone who has been asking to see us live for over two years. We are also particularly proud of our new material and the new stylistic direction. We are equally proud to share this night with three of the most exciting projects on our local scene. We still have a few surprises in store for this show, which we will reveal in due time.”
