AFRICA.ROCKS has launched Atlas Vol. I, the first release in its new sampler CD series.

The compilation comes in a carton sleeve, is limited to 500 units, and is meant to be distributed for free at shows and festivals in South Africa through Emalyth Events.

Atlas was put together with physical circulation in mind. The point is to get the music out of the screen and into the places where heavy music still moves from hand to hand, around venues, across merch tables, and through the crowd at shows and festivals.

That is where Emalyth Events comes in. They are active in South Africa’s live metal circuit and are also involved with Wacken Metal Battle Africa, which makes them the right partner for this first run.
