Maddox Theory release “Kamidogu” lyric video

Cairo’s Maddox Theory have shared the official lyric video for "Kamidogu", the title track from their upcoming EP, with the full release set for 24 April through Darkside Records.

Cairo’s Maddox Theory have released the official lyric video for Kamidogu, giving their upcoming EP a title track and a second public step after last month’s “The Veil Unfolds When I Speak”. The new song was mixed and mastered by Maged Gamal El Deen, while the release is being handled by Darkside Records Europe. Kamidogu will arrive on all platforms on 24 April, with cover art by Yaser El Fayoumy.

The track lands a few weeks after Maddox Theory signed with Darkside Records, a move that pushed the Cairo band into a new phase at a time when they were already reshaping their lineup and preparing fresh material.

“The Veil Unfolds When I Speak” served as the first preview of the EP at the end of March. “Kamidogu” now follows it with a harder stomp and a more direct punch. There is a strong Lamb of God pull in the riffing and groove here, very much in that lane, while Maddox Theory keep the sharper modern edge they have been building toward for some time.
