Maddox Theory have premiered the official video for “The Veil Unfolds When I Speak”. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming EP, was mixed and mastered by Maged Gamal El Deen, and arrives as the first new release to surface since Darkside Records brought the Cairo group onto its roster earlier this week.
Maddox Theory began in December 2016 under the name Redemptoris, founded by vocalist Mustafa Gharib and bassist Hazem Eed. The band first came through with a thrash metal base before pushing into heavier ground, with early releases including “Made of Steel” and later material pointing towards a more modern edge and a stronger deathcore presence.
The past few days have also brought changes around the band itself. Maddox Theory recently confirmed its split with guitarist Adham Ashraf, then introduced new guitarist Loay Ehab as part of the next chapter.
