Myrath have released Wilderness of Mirrors, their new studio album and the follow-up to 2024’s Karma. Issued today, 27 March, through earMUSIC, the record runs to 10 tracks and continues the band’s blend of progressive and power metal with the melodic and rhythmic stamp that has long set them apart.
The release arrives after a rollout that included the singles “Until The End” featuring Elize Ryd, “The Funeral”, “Soul Of My Soul” and “Breathing Near The Roar”. In the lead-up to the album, earMUSIC described it as one of the band’s most ambitious records so far.
Live, Myrath are set to spend much of the year on the road behind the album. The band’s official tour page currently lists a long European run beginning on 4 April in Istanbul and stretching into late October, with dates across Turkey, Germany, Poland, Italy, the UK, France, Spain and Portugal.
Over the years the band have built a strong international profile through albums, festival appearances and videos that have reached well beyond North Africa. Wilderness of Mirrors now gives them a new record to carry into what looks set to be one of their busiest touring cycles yet.
