Algerian thrashers Jugulator have released “False Birth”, the first single from their upcoming fourth full-length album, Nula … The Inverted Son.
According to the band, “False Birth” tells the story of Nula, “a child containing the memory of the future”. He was artificially created by scientists in an attempt to prevent and avert the catastrophes humanity may one day face.
Nula … The Inverted Son continues the storyline introduced on 2024’s Imperator Insector. After surviving the war depicted on the previous album, humanity fears repeating the same decisions that nearly led to its extinction. In response, scientists turn to cloning, genetic engineering and artificial memory technology to create a child capable of remembering events that have not yet happened.
