Devil Empire have announced the Underground Black Metal Alliance – Türkiye Tour 2026, a four-date run bringing musicians from Tunisia and Türkiye together under one bill.
The tour begins at Dorock Heavy Metal Club in Istanbul on 10 September before continuing through Bursa, Eskişehir and Ankara on consecutive nights. Maledictory, Archaeic, DGMA and Arsonist will join Devil Empire across the four dates.
Founded in 1999, Devil Empire play symphonic black/death metal built around aggressive guitar work, orchestral arrangements and darker cinematic elements. The band see the tour as an opportunity to represent African black metal outside the continent while strengthening links between independent scenes.
Speaking exclusively to AFRICA.ROCKS, Devil Empire said: “For us, this tour is much more than four concerts. It is a statement that African Black Metal can stand proudly on the international stage through dedication, authenticity and brotherhood. Underground Black Metal Alliance brings together musicians from Tunisia and Türkiye, proving that borders disappear when people share the same passion for extreme music.”
The band have also promised direct performances centred on the music and the underground culture surrounding it.
“People can expect honest performances, uncompromising music and an atmosphere built on respect for the underground spirit. Every band on this tour has its own identity, but together we share the same commitment to keeping Black Metal genuine.”
For Devil Empire, the four shows arrive after almost three decades as a band and form part of a renewed push towards international audiences.
