Sina Kienou has released the first single from the Mandé Rock project. “Immortel” arrived on 29 May 2026 through Kienou’s independent label, SK99 PROD. The track introduces Révolution Touma, an album currently in preparation.
Mandé Rock brings rock music together with the musical heritage of Mandingue culture. Kienou describes the project as a contemporary African rock voice shaped by culture, resilience and creativity.
The song pays tribute to people who gave their lives for the dignity of their communities and for causes they believed were just. It also reflects on the way acts rooted in courage, truth and responsibility can continue to influence later generations. According to the project, “Immortel” is based on the idea that actions taken in the name of justice are not forgotten, and that the memory of those behind them continues to inform the present.
Kienou contributed guitars and voice to the recording, joined by Roi Sharuf on rhythm guitar, Amos Jonathan Paré on bass and Siaka Dao on percussion. Roland Drum handled the drum parts. The track was recorded by Isaac Ouedraogo at Hope Music in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Mixing and mastering were completed by Yohann Spitz at Wood Studio in Liège, Belgium. The official video was directed by Inoussa Sakandé of Naata B Panga Prod in Burkina Faso.
“Immortel” is available now through Bandcamp, Spotify and other digital platforms. Further details about Révolution Touma have yet to be announced.
