Suicide Machine to release Knight Of The Abyss in August

The Moroccan band will release their new album on 29 August, with the cover already revealed.

Moroccan metal band Suicide Machine will release their new album, Knight Of The Abyss, on 29 August.

The news was shared by Elias, lead vocalist of Suicide Machine and vocalist of Pagan Ulver. The record is built around the idea of human life under control, with its lyrics using fantasy to address freedom, politics and the systems that shape people’s lives.

Speaking exclusively to AFRICA.ROCKS, Elias explained: “Actually, the album is about the universal system and the control of humans in this universe. It talks about the limitation of freedom and how people are controlled by their system, by politics, and by many things in this life. All the songs talk about a time, a phase in human life, and the path of human life. It is all described in a fantastical way through the lyrics. Why Knight Of The Abyss? Actually, Knight Of The Abyss is this cruel world we are living in.”

More details on the tracklist and release format are expected to follow.
