The AFRICA.ROCKS social media accounts were compromised overnight, resulting in messages being sent without our authorisation.
We would like to apologise to everyone who received messages from our accounts during the incident. Those messages were not sent by AFRICA.ROCKS and did not represent us in any way.
For a short period, we were still able to access the accounts, change the password and keep things under control. However, Meta later blocked our access while the situation was being reviewed.
We are currently waiting for the issue to be resolved and hope to regain normal access as soon as possible. Until then, we ask followers to ignore any unusual messages or activity coming from our social media accounts.
We will keep everyone updated through AFRICA.ROCKS as soon as we have more information.
