Lost Insen release “Self Made Slavery” video

Tunisian progressive metal band Lost Insen return to Renaissance with "Self Made Slavery", a song about the walls people build around themselves in the name of comfort and freedom.

Tunisian progressive metal band Lost Insen have released the official video for “Self Made Slavery”, the second track from their comeback EP, Renaissance.

The video premiered on 16 June 2026 through the band’s official YouTube channel.

Speaking exclusively to AFRICA.ROCKS, guitarist Karim Bouazra explains the idea behind the song:

“The song expresses how we all build our own walls out of fake comfort and fail to escape from it, trapped in the illusion of freedom.”

“Self Made Slavery” appears on Renaissance, Lost Insen’s first release since Here After in 2014. The EP was mixed and mastered by Tom MacLean at Twelve Tone Studio Productions. Drums were recorded at Grindhouse Studios in Athens, engineered by George Bokos and supported by Darkside Records Europe. Vocals were recorded at Dusan Filiminovic Studio.

The official video was created by Wayne Joyner, while the cover painting for Renaissance was produced by Lis-Muriel Wegner.
