As Night Fades have shared the official lyric video for “Sever”, which premiered on 5 June through the band’s YouTube channel.
Speaking exclusively to AFRICA.ROCKS, vocalist Stephen, who wrote the song, says the track is about cutting out the negative forces that stop personal growth: “The track for me personally is getting rid of the negative in your life to flourish as a better person moving forward, and by getting rid of it, means getting rid of the negative aspects from the source.”
The release was also followed by a live appearance on GQ Radio Station from Signal Flow Studios ZA, where As Night Fades spoke about the band and the new single with Alan Simmonds.
