State Of The Nation VI will take over Rumours Lounge on 29 August, with 14 metal bands playing across the venue’s inside and outside stages.
Now in its sixth edition, the event brings together a large Johannesburg line-up built around different corners of the local heavy scene. The bill features Sunken State, Raptor Baby, Diverted, Die Gemeente, No Closure, Facing The Gallows, Days Without Incident, Moshmallow, Freedom For Your Life, Walk These Skies, Boargazm, Grift, Black Nature and Human Nebula.
The organisers have confirmed that Phase 1 tickets are already sold out. Phase 2 tickets are priced at R200, Phase 3 tickets at R250, and general or door entry at R300.
