Tricinty Fest sets fourth edition for Rabat

Morocco's Tricinty Fest will return to Rabat on 5 and 6 June 2026, with The Ocean, Toundra, Hypno5e, False Reality and Manic Attack among the confirmed names. The Ocean are also set to play what organisers describe as a worldwide exclusive show with their new line-up.

Tricinty Fest will hold its fourth edition in Rabat on 5 and 6 June 2026. Founded in 2015 as a platform dedicated to rock and metal in North Africa, Tricinty first appeared through the Tricinty Marock compilations, released in 2015 and 2023. The festival came from that second compilation, with the aim of helping revive the local rock scene through live and digital performances. According to the festival presentation, Tricinty Fest is the first festival dedicated to rock and metal music in Morocco.

The 2026 edition will take place over two days. The first day, on 5 June, will focus on support and capacity building, with a press conference at 6:00 PM and a first stage event at Café La Scène from 7:00 PM. The stage is built around new local names, with Lixivia from Rabat, Anora from Kénitra and Darih from Casablanca scheduled to perform.

The main concert day follows on 6 June at Renaissance Cinema, with doors opening at 5:00 PM. The line-up includes Morocco’s Manic Attack, Spain’s Toundra, France’s Hypno5e, the UK’s False Reality and Germany’s The Ocean.

The festival will also include training sessions and workshops. On 6 June, The Ocean will host two masterclasses in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut: a drum clinic led by Jordi Farré from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, followed by a vocal screaming masterclass led by The Ocean Collective’s vocalist from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Registration will be required through the form shared on the festival’s social media.

A separate mixing workshop will take place on 30 May at HIBA Studio at 3:00 PM. Organised in partnership with the British Council, the workshop will be led by British musician and sound engineer Tom MacLean and will focus on production techniques, mixing and audio management.

Tricinty Fest is supported by the HIBA Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded in 2006 under the initiative of King Mohammed VI. The foundation works across cinema, music, photography, fashion and design, street arts, dance, theatre, digital arts and other cultural areas.

Since its first edition in 2023, Tricinty Fest has hosted more than 18 bands from different countries, with more than 1,400 attendees per edition and an online audience of more than 10,000 people through social media coverage. The first edition took place in Rabat with a stop in Casablanca, while the second and third editions were held in Rabat at Renaissance Cinema.

Tricinty Fest 4 takes place in Rabat on 5 and 6 June 2026.
