Dikamba play final Angola show tonight before Johannesburg

Angolan rock band Dikamba play their final concert tonight before travelling to Johannesburg for Wacken Metal Battle Africa. The show takes place at Palco WYZA, with Efeito Colateral also on the bill, and ticket revenue will help support Dikamba's trip to South Africa.

Dikamba are preparing for Johannesburg with one last show at home.

The Angolan band perform live tonight at Palco WYZA, alongside Efeito Colateral, in what is being presented as their final concert before heading to South Africa for Wacken Metal Battle Africa.

Entry is set at 3,000 KZ, with the ticket money going towards the band’s travel costs. Supporters can also help by buying Dikamba merch, including T-shirts, bags and pins, or by making a donation directly to the band.

This show is about getting Dikamba to Johannesburg. The band have earned their place at Wacken Metal Battle Africa, but getting from Angola to South Africa still costs money. Tonight’s ticket sales, merch sales and donations all go towards that trip, so the concert is also a direct way for their local crowd to help make the next step possible.

Dikamba are calling on their community to show up tonight, buy a ticket, get merch, donate, and help take the band to Johannesburg.
