Metal Blast Festival opens global band applications for first 2026 event; sets February 6 deadline

Metal Blast Festival has launched an open call for bands worldwide to apply for a slot at its first event of 2026, with submissions closing on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Metal Blast Festival is calling on bands across the globe to get involved in its next chapter. In a new Instagram post, the festival announced that applications are now open for artists who want to take the stage at Metal Blast’s first event of 2026.

The organisers told interested bands to submit via an application form available through the link in the festival’s bio. The deadline is Friday, February 6, 2026.

In a previous update, Metal Blast said it would revive its educational music workshops, bringing back a hands-on, community-focused layer alongside its live events. The festival also noted that it is entering a new branding phase, with refreshed visuals, a 15-year anniversary identity, and future dates and lineup announcements to be shared gradually later this ye
