Tunisian progressive metal band Myrath have released their version of Sting’s ‘Shape Of My Heart’, with the track now available across streaming platforms alongside an official lyric video.
Released on 11 September, (the original appeared on Sting’s 1993 album Ten Summoner’s Tales), the cover follows the release of Myrath’s latest album, Wilderness Of Mirrors, issued through earMUSIC on 27 March 2026.
Wilderness Of Mirrors has kept Myrath on the road throughout 2026. The first European leg ran through April, taking the band across Turkey, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and Switzerland.
The next run begins on 17 September in Metz, France, before moving through mainland Europe, Scandinavia and the UK. October will see further dates in France, Spain and Portugal. The band will then head to Latin America in December for concerts in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Mexico.
Myrath formed in Tunisia in the early 2000s and have gradually built an international audience around their blend of progressive and power metal with Tunisian and broader North African musical elements. Their catalogue includes Hope (2007), Desert Call (2010), Tales Of The Sands (2011), Legacy (2016), Shehili (2019), Karma (2024) and this year’s Wilderness Of Mirrors. The band have also appeared at festivals including Hellfest, Wacken and Sweden Rock, while their 2022 activities included a performance during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
