Tunisian prog metal band Nawather have been added to Motocultor Festival 2026 in France, joining a bill topped by names like Judas Priest and Within Temptation.
In their announcement, the band framed it as a career moment:
“Such an honour to join the @motocultorfestival 2026 lineup! Stepping onto the stage of this European metal landmark is a true milestone for us. Get ready for an Oriental Metal storm!”
Motocultor runs across four days, 13 to 16 August 2026, in Carhaix (Finistère, Brittany), with four stages and a line-up that stretches from heritage headliners to extreme metal and everything in between. On the festival’s current schedule, Nawather are listed for Friday, 14 August.
Nawather have spent the past decade sharpening a progressive metal sound shaped by Middle Eastern folk colours. Formed in 2013 in Tunis, they’ve released two full-length albums: Wasted Years (2016) and Kenz Illusion (2021).
Their latest LP, Kenz Illusion, landed via M&O Music in February 2021 and includes “Falleg”, a track they also put out as a standalone single in the same period.
